I got these for my friends 8 year old boy and they fit his bed very well. a little more would be great. If they included a bed skirt, it would make an almost perfect bedding set. The sheet has enough room for deep mattresses and is wrapped with an elastic band to keep it neatly under the mattress. A flat sheet is a lot bigger than regular flat sheets so you can hide a ton of extra stuff under the mattress to keep the bed tight and I love that. I used to buy a sheet a size larger just because the companies trimmed you down and you couldn't tuck the sheet in the sides. The duvet is nice, but it also needs to be the same size as the sheet so that it really hangs down the sides and you have room to curl up under it and not tuck it on top of the mattress. I washed it straight away and everything is fine, but only time will tell how it will hold up over the next few years.
