When we moved into our old house we had a wall outlet where someone cut a hole in the wall that was too big for a standard outlet and they cut a hole next to the stud so the The outlet that was there was simply weakened and could not be used. It's been like this for 15 years because we never knew how to fix it, but then I stumbled across it on Amazon. I bought it hoping it would work and it worked. I had to make the hole a little bigger, but then we installed it and it's great. After 15 years I am so happy that I have an outlet that works and looks good. It was a little tricky to attach the old wire but we finally figured it out and I'm very happy with it. It's very deep so make sure you have wall space.
