Microphones for far-reaching and clear sound

First, I should mention that while this system is advertised as a two-channel system, they are not discrete stereo channels, meaning you're recording channels on both transmitters from the receiver to the camera, fusing them together (left and right). This is not your typical A&B channel system. Live recording in stereo is not an option. The problem is that you are recording 2 voices (one for each station) and one voice is louder than the other. In a video editor, it is more difficult to reduce a loud voice and/or increase a soft voice because both voices are recorded at the same time. Both transmitters have a volume control from 0 to 10 so this can be useful for pre-recording adjustments and monitoring through the headphone mic input on the receiver. Despite this, this is still a very high quality wireless system. The wireless range is surprisingly long, and the microphones pick up clear and loud audio when you turn the volume up or down. The transmitters have a high pass filter switch on the top which also helps some in windy/noisy situations. Another nice feature is that there is almost nothing to do in the setup. The transmitters will automatically connect to the receiver even if you change the frequency. The receiver has a Wi-Fi icon that is red for one transmitter connected and blue for the other, or if you have both connected it is a combination of blue and red. The volume up/down button is the same as the power button, which can be quickly tapped after turning on the transmitter. The cost of this system is very reasonable in my opinion and the internal lithium batteries provide 8 hours of working time. The wireless system is silent as long as it is silent around you. All three MC2S devices are lightweight. I prefer true stereo channels and give the MC2S 4 stars for that alone. I really like the clarity and the loud microphones. If you decide to purchase the MC2S I hope you will be as impressed as I am. The company also makes the X200S system, which costs more and has a stereo A/B option. Note, however, that it has half the range and around 5 hours of battery life. Thank you Real Mic for making quality products.
