Review on Actiontec Wireless Transmitter Receiver MWTVKIT01 by John Larsen

I bought these because I was trying to stream two different devices and read a separate review. I couldn't do it with my existing device (TECH-DIGITAL) because the signals conflict with each other. The good news is that they obviously use different signals because they both work together at the same time, but this device failed to transmit to TECH-DIGITAL and had a failure rate about 10x higher than my tech. -DIGITAL. Notably, it jumps for a quick second about every few minutes, which TECH-DIGITAL can skip about every 5 minutes, but it also needs to be reset about every 3 or 4 days, while my TECH-DIGITAL only needs to be reset about every 2 months. It serves its purpose as I can't stream two devices of the same brand, but I would pay the extra $20 for TECH-DIGITAL if I could use both at the same time. It should be noted that the Actiontec looks a lot smaller and less obtrusive than the TECH-DIGITAL and I have a home that is very problematic with signals so it's possible the Actiontec would be a much better unit without the signal issues most Households. . half the size and without bulky antennas. Also this device DOES NOT NEED A SEPARATOR for the transmitter. I'm updating this review and deducting a star because now the reset rate gets closer every time I use it. I'm actually going to change it to a different brand today because it's gotten so annoying. I'm leaving two stars because if you're willing to reset it every day, it technically works.
