Good, sturdy frypot with thick aluminum core on a stainless steel sandwich base. It's heavier than thin-walled aluminum braziers, but significantly stronger. Many complain that a 25-pound turkey with the lid on cannot be cooked in a pan this size. You can't do that either, but you still don't use the lid when frying - that's steaming. Offset handles allow for use in some ovens that won't fit others. Size but shorter, with thinner aluminum core than a frying pan - cool! There's no non-stick surface, but it's easy to clean. This is a replacement non-stick fryer with a "lifetime guarantee" from a company that has gone out of business. The non-stick surface will peel off - this will never happen. Ok, the stand is not included, but I can buy one if needed. It's not cheap, but there are others that cost three times as much. I am fine.
