If I could do that 3.75 I WILL be more than a full 4. First let me say I bought this to replace Fluval 306 Duckbill. nozzle that it comes with and place it on my 50 gallon tank. I bought a 23-30" kit as my tank is 36" and used all the sections for a full 30". Now pay attention to the thickness of the set of each size. either 12/16mm or 16/22mm. The larger mm is for the angle connection. The 16mm arc was NOT thick enough to fit Fluval 306/406 series rubber connectors. However, I got it to fit snugly after applying some tape. As another reviewer pointed out, larger 22mm arches can fit snugly for longer 306/406 jumper sets without tape. However, this size is only available for larger kits. If you don't need as long a set you can simply omit a rod section or two, but you'll be paying for the longer size if you don't need it. Another small issue I had was that the bar sections weren't very strong when connected together. Now they don't spin freely or anything, but they weren't waterproof. When I first connected everything and turned on my filter, you could see slow water drips at each connection point of the pole sections. Is that a big deal? No not at all. But that means you lose water pressure in those spots. I ended up putting small pieces of tape in the fittings before squeezing them together and it made the seal very tight! No more pressure loss. The only other small issue was that I had to take a drill and line up the holes on the atomizer. It was as if each of them had a different diameter, so the water was squirting out at a different angle and pressure, making it difficult to get a steady stream of water. So all in all it's a good atomizer to replace the failed 306/406 series duckbill filter and with a few minor tweaks I got it working pretty well. Maybe they just need a little bit more quality control in their production and I give 5 stars right away.
