As there is a lot of talk about size I ordered size XL for our standard poodle who is about 8 months old. and 35 pounds in these photos and she suits him perfectly. - The material and construction of the hat is great - Usually he worries if he has to wear something but after a minute he didn't mind wearing it at all. - It really is like that. Really nice job shading his eyes. The hat sits fairly flat on his head, but its shape resembles a baseball cap.
