Very well made door. I've only had it for about a month, but it seems strong. I have 2 60lb labs and they have no problem getting in or out. I've bought a few other doors with plastic flaps such as the Johnson Extreme Pet Door, Petsafe Extreme and the Maxseal Pet Door - the problem is that the plastic has formed over the years so the seal isn't very good. and then the plastic cracks over time and they usually don't make replacement flaps by then, or when they do they cost almost $90 for a pair of flaps and you have to redo the weatherseals as well. I hope this door lasts much longer. Update: I've had the door since June 2014 and since September 2015 it has held up great with no signs of wear. Updated to say it's 2019 and it still works great. Pretty incredible as my dogs go through it like they were shot out of a cannon and are still holding up well.
