The silicone cases only direct Oculus audio into your ears, but they are only cases and don't make contact with your ears. so you can still hear ambient noise. I like them, but at some point I will buy standard headphones to protect myself from extraneous noise. In addition, they are easily removable and interchangeable and can be knocked off during intense exercise or while playing. I understand they didn't fall off, but the soft silicone isn't fixed.
