I have a Mercedes CLS with a light leather steering wheel. I wanted a case because I was tired of making sure my hands were clean and oil free before I could ride. I really didn't think I'd find a sliding cover due to the steering wheel's unusual D-shape. This has been well crafted from high quality leather. I cleaned the wheel and applied some leather conditioner (it got a little smooth too). Since the lid fits snugly, I warmed it up with a hair dryer. Start at the top and work your way down and around the wheel to install it. I didn't like the textured panel inserts, so I took them off and installed them back-to-front, smooth leather toward the rider. It looks great and fits great. Discreet look of my Benz without making it cheaper. Only 2 cons, it makes the cross section of the wheel much thicker in the hand (I have big hands don't worry) and I wish it was wider as it doesn't close completely. A small gap that is acceptable as I can quickly remove and/or replace it; unlike cases with leather straps that take hours to wrap and sew. Works for me!
