Review on Putco 92009 18 Ram1500 Jeep Led by Leo Govindan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super High Quality/Easy Installation

These lights are very high quality and very bright. You can find cheaper options but the quality will not be as high. Why such a price difference, what are you paying for? Two main points: 1) Putco Blade LED Lux is better. Lux is a measure of how light is focused, making its resolution sharper and brighter, especially in bad weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, dusty air, etc. Many people only compare lumens, but lumens are just a measure of how bright a light is. light can shine. Thing is, you need to focus the "brightness", i.e. lux, to see it better in low visibility. This always applies to LED lights. 2) The light design has the highest water, moisture and dust resistance (highest IP69K rating), including the highest quality resins to cover and protect the LED lights. This keeps these LED lights looking like new for years compared to cheaper options that fade and fade over time. The space between the tailgate and the bumper isn't exactly level, so a single 60" can't be flush installed. But this review applies to the Putco 60", 48" and 36" lightweight blades as well. They are all made the same. I'm not trying to promote this product, I have nothing to do with Putco. Just sharing the research I've done and what I've learned Yes there are cheaper options you can buy but in the long run I think the design of these lights is the best option with plug and play installation and avoids the need to splice and remove the left tail. This is great if you're doing the job yourself and it's inconvenient to splice the wires, or if you're paying someone to install it, the time (ie money) savings are more than worth it, it pays off.
