They're fine now that I've finally hung them up, but I don't think they take pride in their craftsmanship. Firstly, they have these damn LITTLE triangular hangers - you know, the ones that hang around so it's almost impossible to hang them on a nail to hang a picture, and two of them, I thought they were hung correctly when I did found out that the frames were only hooked on one nail (not the hangers) and therefore they were either hung at the wrong height (more nail holes in my wall) or dropped on the floor to break (junk). In contrast, another frame I bought at the same time had handy serrated temples that are much more comfortable in many ways. Well punch two is a small triangular piece of masonite on the back if the frame is to stand and not be hung. When trimmed correctly it sinks into the back of the frame so it doesn't affect how the painting hangs for those who hang it on the wall. Since the ones on it aren't recessed, if I wanted to hang a picture on the wall I had to break off the masonite part - otherwise a bottom corner of the frame sticks out - which means the frame can never be used. again not on the wall. Before the next time I buy frames, I will definitely find out what not only the front looks like, but also what "features" on the back will drive me crazy!
