Very high pressure with low flow restriction. I tested it at 124#' so there is NO bypass to relieve the pressure. Most pumps require a variable pressure block so you can dial in the correct pressure. The resistance reduces power to slow the pump and reduce pressure. Use 0.5 to 1.0 ohms. The bypass resistor provides full voltage to the WOTtle choke and increases pump life by about 50%. Remember that electric fuel pumps only have a lifespan of 3000 hours at full voltage. That's about 100,000 km. Use very clean fuel, use 2 or 4 good napa filters and never inhale air, low tank levels will prolong life. Example: veterinarians.
