Almost perfect everyday socks. They're big enough that they don't pull down from the ankle of your shoe like most ankle socks, which is a very desirable feature. There are also no raised seams, so there is virtually no chance of something annoying rubbing against your legs with every step. The elastic works well and doesn't pinch at all, although I'm a thin person and can't speak to the material's effect on thicker ankles. I also noticed that when I take my socks off, my feet aren't covered in much dried black fuzz mixed with sweat. I'm on my feet all day and the smaller black socks ended up completely stuck to the soles and between my toes. In fact, after a 10-hour drive to work, there was only a modest to negligible amount left. That gives me confidence that they won't be forgotten at some point, at least not too soon. The bottom line is, if I were going on a long walk where cumbersome foot gear multiplies tenfold, like a family vacation to an amusement park, I would trust these socks.
