Only works with certain DJI products (e.g. DJI Air Unit / Caddx Unit). The only benefit is that this transmitter will work with the video block and will reduce the number of wires on your quadcopter or app if you can get a FC that supports it. The quality seems solid but is very specific to DJI gear (cannot be used as a standalone transmitter). It has smooth and accurate stick throws but is very expensive for what it does. The range is no better than any other decent radio. It only works with some DJI gear (not very many) and nothing else. It needs to be registered with DJI on a PC and digitally updated (you need to install a PC application listed as Trojan) before it will work. It does not use OpenTX or other modern software. It can't pull up telemetry (like voltage or range) or have options to change transmit settings. Bottom line: I liked the fact that I could plug it directly into the flight controller without soldering extra wires, but for the price of that I could buy another transmitter for half the price and got double the features and double the range. I would have to solder 3 more wires. 2 stars because it works. Save your money and invest in a quality transmitter that you can use for all your flight applications and get so much more out of it.
