I bought these thinking they would help me with 12v RGB analog light strip prototyping and they work great. To insert the LED strip, all you have to do first is slide the edges of the strip under the plastic tabs and the strip will mate nicely with the contact fingers. The LED strips are marked with polarity (12V strips are common (+)) and the connection point is marked on the case. . This allows me to easily use a short length when prototyping and not have to worry about soldering new leads or adding some bulky pins with removable pins that cause things to slosh around all over the place while I work. These photos are all grainy. from expansion. One marks the LED inserted into the connection with plastic edge protrusions above the LED strip. You can also see how tight the snap case is against the first LED - they are in contact. The third shows the male-female breadboard wires pinched under the pins. Note that the plastic edge protrusion will interfere with the alignment of the end connections. So if you use any of these edges for all four pins and RGB testing, you'll need to carefully trim those edge protrusions to keep the end connectors straight.
