I have 6 grinders and use at least one of them every day. was looking for a lighter grinder that could be used with one hand to bevel the EDC tools we make. My largest 4.5-inch Makita is an incredible workhorse, but it's too big and heavy for fine one-handed work. (Insert a tacky joke here!) This is a great meat grinder. If you have small hands or don't use a grinder much, I might use it as my main tool. If you grind a lot, you'll appreciate the Makita quality, solid construction, and slim profile. Oh, and like all Makitas, it doesn't have stupid paddle shifters.
