Personally I would like perhaps only 10-15% more response in the range of 20-200 Hz). Regardless, they deliver incredibly clear highs and mids, and there's a certain low-end presentation, they just lack any punch. I opted for longer silicone ear tips as they seem to direct more sound into my ear and it helps pick up the bass. Otherwise they are quite comfortable to wear for several hours, they stay in place. very good when walking and "cable noise" is minimal (vibration/noise caused by the cable rubbing against objects). As others have said they sometimes seem a little too isolating because they block out so much outside noise (especially with longer springs) but I can't really say that's really a disadvantage as that's what they were designed for. What is *a downside* - or at least a downside - is the built-in microphone; It seems to pick up so much background noise that it's difficult for others to understand what I'm saying as I walk around town. I had a hard time spending that kind of money on headphones; I'm by no means an audiophile, but I do appreciate quality "reference" sound reproduction. I bought them for 25% off list price from a seller here at Revain; At this price I am happy with my purchase. At the full advertised price. I don't know, I think I would be less forgiving of bass flatness. The included accessories are great, though, from useful (plenty of attachments and braided cable) to over-the-top (interchangeable faceplates and earwax cleaner). , ah). The carrying case is a little clunky and unwieldy, but that's a minor thing. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
