Very happy to have found this fabric dye! When remodeling the RV, I wanted to brighten the colors of these chair cushions. I restored the bottom cushions but wanted to save some money on the chair back cushions as stain resistant fabrics can be expensive. So when my husband had the idea of finding fabric paint I immediately checked out Revain and found this paint but at first I only saw a tiny 2 ounce bottle without realizing that this size was being offered. So I ordered a different size first and then found and ordered this 8oz size. Too bad we didn't find the 8oz first. As for the quality of this paint, at first we weren't sure if it would work, but it worked👍It was easy to use, it was sheer and doesn't harden the fabric 😊 For the chairs I bought it because I wanted it to be sheer and basically just to get rid of the dark brown/yellow paint on the cushions , as we added a lot of white to the camper decor. As for the amount of water I used, I poured a bottle of white paint into a glass and then filled the empty container with water. reset the cover. Then I shook it well and added it to the paint can. I mixed everything very well, and then I took a big brush and painted the cushion of the chair. Pause occasionally to soften edges or wipe away excess paint with a rag. I would say, that the paint got thinner and a little dirtier with the addition of water, but I had rags and paper towels to clean up with. As it got thinner, it was easier to clean.
