High price, great performance

This allowed me to instantly achieve HDR at 4K at 60Hz for 30ft from a Marantz 8805AV processor to an Epson 6050UB projector (I also had to switch the Epson EDID signal setting from Normal to Enhanced). With my previously purchased Fusion 4K cable, I was only able to get 4K@60Hz without HDR or 4K@30Hz with HDR. I tried other, cheaper means in the hours leading up to purchasing this cable, including swapping out shorter, cheaper HDMI cables from multiple sources (Xbox One X, Roku Ultra 4K, etc.) to the processor, to no avail. While I'm not thrilled with the high price of this cable, I'm very happy with the result and hope that it will provide a connection from my dedicated media cabinet to my projector for at least a few years in the future, so I'll give the slightly exorbitant price a go Consider the price of this cable money well spent. Edit: Although this cable worked great, I sent it back a few days later and bought two significantly cheaper Ruipro fiber optic cables, both of which worked fine for my needs as well.

Pros
  • Slimrun AV HDR is thinner and softer than traditional fiber optic cables. Flexible polymer optical cables have a smaller bend radius and are much more resistant to damage and abuse than traditional fiber optic cables.
Cons
  • wrinkled
