This is my 3rd TVG. I have had three generations. The first generation was the best, but it didn't have high definition capability. The TVG LT generation was intended to close the gap with HD, but it was a very poor replacement. I was hesitant to buy the HD model due to the LT model's failure, but I'm glad I did. Is it overpriced? Yes. However, with all the junk on TV, we need to support the companies that are actually trying to fight it. My children got a Christmas bonus and they wanted to buy it with it! At my house, if a show takes the name of the Lord in vain and we don't turn off the sound in time, we have to turn off the show or movie by the next day. With this model, TVG HD catches most often. It won't catch Praise God when abused, or Praise God, but I can see it would be difficult to program it to know when it's appropriate and when it's not . I have a DVD player and also an OTA Tivo model. It will block bad words on both most of the time. It's a bit late to mute Tivo, but not bad, and sometimes it makes the audio too long, but I'd prefer it to be too short. You still get an idea of what's going on in the program. What I would like to see: I would like to see the buttons on the remote on the TVG box itself because I see losing the remote or the battery dies. . Another option would be to program the TV remote to control it. Great job, and the same goes for the engineers and creators of TVG! I'm glad you improved and replaced the LT version instead of abandoning the digital age.
