very quiet and love the rev range! I ordered the same fan in June 2016 and it still works, but this year I sometimes have to press the blades to make it work and I think it's a great investment for the $50 I paid back then. So I took a look and got the turret models first, but they were inefficient and seemed to lose power when running. In just 2 days both were sent back. Then I kept looking and found the same silent oscillating fans I had before and I got 2 versions this year. I was very pleased with the upgrades made - a wider and heavier base, storage space for the remote control, and a pneumatic type of actuation for raising and lowering the height. I like the fan's tilt options and the ability to keep it in one place. This is NOT like the cheap regular fan sold in Wally's World.
