So. I bought it for my husband for Christmas and he couldn't get it to work. In retrospect I think it was user error. I read other reviews and 2 people mentioned problems but I took a chance because the other reviews were sooooo great! However, I sent the first one back. He just couldn't start and tried everything. We sent another one a week after Christmas. I'm very glad they sent another one and hoped we would send the first one back. So there was no extra waiting time or money being held for a refund etc. A second arrived and we seemed to have the same problem. My heart sank. THEN my husband decided to look up the company online and get a customer service number. THEY helped him launch the drone. There are few more steps than walking. In general, the call worked. Customer service was VERY helpful and the drone is running and my husband has a crush on it. The previous one COULD work if we knew what we were doing. So the instructions could be a bit better, maybe with a video showing you how to calibrate and unlock the motors. 4 stars for starting problems. HOWEVER, once you're comfortable you should be fine, go. If necessary, call customer service.
