I used a set of these to use a stray Cat6 cable that runs from one side of my house to the other to connect a cheap Zosi analog camera to my DVR. It was as simple as crimping the connectors on the ends of the Cat6 cable, plugging them into these baluns, and connecting the baluns to the camera and DVR. Baluns send data and power over Cat6 cable and use it in essentially the same way as a POE camera. The camera works perfectly and I am very happy with the performance of the baluns.
