This product is great if you are looking for earplugs with a retractable neckband and long battery life. The sound is unfortunately, but unsurprisingly, poor at the level you'd expect from a $10 wired set from Walmart. This neckband is perfect for podcast lovers and random songs that just got stuck in your head. To ask for more in the audio space, I'd recommend looking at LG; Last time I checked you're losing battery life. Therefore, you'll have to choose between sound quality and battery life if you're going to put heavy use on the neckband. If you've mostly used cheap headphones over the years, you probably won't notice a difference. But it becomes apparent once you listen a little deeper that these headphones sound very flat. Battery life is excellent, lasting several days before Chatty Kathy needs to be charged. And I've had them for a few months now and I was concerned that the lifespan would shorten over that time, but luckily that hasn't happened yet. So the batteries seem to be of acceptable quality. Last but not least, if you've overextended the cord and can't retract it, just give it a firm tug when needed and it will roll back. It doesn't happen often, but when it happens the first time you might feel like you can break it; Just add a little extra power with each pull and you should be fine.
