Like me, your old slides probably never had the quality of today's great digital camera images, but this little machine brings them to your digital collection. It works as advertised, but try not to overload it with an oversized SD memory card. You need a 16GB card, not 32 or higher. It sounds counterintuitive, but the problem is that this reader needs to be able to handle everything that's on the card, and more than 16GB is too much for normal operation. Also, I saw someone comment that the slide holder is difficult to open. This is true until you do what I did and take a simple metal file and snip off the totally unnecessary edge that grips and holds the two sections together. Just submit it and this problem will be fixed. and take a plain metal file and don't cut off the totally unnecessary edge that grips and holds the two sections together.
