I received some of these (only 6 inch) as gifts when I bought some tools last year. I found them much more useful than the standard solid metal key ring. It's easy to add (or remove) elements, yet durable and flexible. I use them for medicine bottles, small tools etc along with keys. I bought them to try different sizes. Although the little ones are only of limited use, I'm still glad that they exist. Keys don't pinch like solid rings, and the larger ones fit in your pocket because they're flexible. The only drawback: They are colored so that most diapers can be used in a matter of seconds as soon as my girls have seen them. So I will be buying more soon.
