Incredibly fast and cheap!

I bought this printer for home use having previously had 2 cheaper label printers. I love it. This is the best label printer I have ever used. Worth the price. I share it with multiple Windows computers on my network. It works either as a network printer or as a standalone computer. I haven't tried to get it to work on Linux or iMac. I haven't checked if drivers are available. Since I mostly use a computer with Win7. Changing label size and type is quick and easy, and printing is lightning fast. Printing is so fast that I no longer have to fiddle with "3 across" labels. I would advise you to buy labels of different sizes and types in advance. You will use them! I also suggest catching the stickers as they print and eject faster than a 60 year old can turn around! I've used it for things I haven't used other cheaper label printers for before. For example, labeling tool boxes, labeling file folders, etc. This is great for one-time use or for your Christmas list. Cons, I had some trouble waking it up after not using it for a while. I think the editor is quirky and took a few days to get the hang of it. I usually open existing labels and edit them so it's faster than starting from scratch with an editor. The only bulk labels I make are Christmas card labels. I don't like their database and would like them to use something more open like an address book in email programs so information can be exchanged. Once set up, however, the list is easily editable and I haven't printed labels on my laser printer since I got it.
