Fantastic offer. Update: Carcinogen Warning Literature

I underestimated the size but it's perfect. And huge. love black, looks sexy on my black table. Good work surface all round. Was a little worried about the carcinogen warning; Washing hands is just a CYA (cover your...) instruction? Also, should I be careful when rinsing off things I've done on it, especially if I'm going to wear it? These warnings sometimes seem more harmful than helpful. I'd like to know if something actually has a chance of causing cancer above 0.01% with regular use, but too many warnings just make important warnings less noticeable. Even Starbucks warns about California carcinogens. It's hard to know what's really of concern unless you study the current literature. Update: This might be helpful. Only clear vinyl is on the Prop 65 list. ca.gov/air/toxic_contaminants/pdf_zip/VC-final%20doc.pdf (airborne) – "As with all chemicals, the health effects of VAM exposure depend on the level and duration of exposure. MVS is not considered to be highly toxic." "VAM can penetrate the skin, but not as easily. Prolonged skin contact can cause sensitization and an allergic skin reaction in a small proportion of people." "Tumors that have occurred in laboratory animals at very high exposure levels observed throughout their lifetime are not considered significant in humans exposed to low concentrations under normal conditions of use.” "Several epidemiological studies have reported an association between vinyl chloride exposure in pregnant women and an increased incidence of birth defects. , while other studies have not reported similar results. "I expect an adult to be fine even if they eat something now and then, although there's no point in tempting fate. Personally, I'll probably just use it with a little more care than usual. Various sources indicate that this poses a risk, especially for children, or for inhaling high concentrations over the course of a lifetime. To be honest, I'm more concerned about all the chemicals my neighbors use on their lawns that run off into the water.

Pros
