Merrill went downhill
Merrill used to be associated with quality and convenience. A few years ago I bought Merrill shoes which were the most comfortable I've ever worn. They are similar in style but far from the older ones in terms of comfort. They look cheap and hurt my feet. The Merrills are dead to me now. Never again.
