Far from being similar to Renal K+
My cat has kidney problems and I purchased this item because I had a hard time finding Renal K+ in Revain and the active ingredient and ingredient list were essentially the same. I thought it would be more or less the same. He even calls himself a gel. As others have pointed out, it's more of a disgusting pale brown mush and my extremely food motivated cat who eats Renal K+ in his food won't touch it. Although it is different from Renal K+ I am 0% sure it is even a potassium gluconate supplement. claims it is. Do not buy.
