I was a bit hesitant to purchase this kit after reading the reviews because some people were talking about installation issues. However, I have a 535i and all the posts from 5 series owners seem to show that it will fit. Well, that wasn't the case for me. On the left corner facing the front of the vehicle, the 4 screw holes were slightly offset. All other 20 holes were perfectly matched. With some adjustment I was finally able to get the 4 screws in and tightened, but I knew it would probably leak because the pan was off a bit (maybe a millimeter or two). Well, as expected, flows from this corner. I tried tightening it a little more but it still leaks. Now I'm going to spend the money I saved from the purchase and probably a lot more to get a genuine replacement transmission pan. If you want to get the job done I recommend getting an OEM kit. It's about $80-$100 more at places like FCPEuro, but the time and effort involved in not having to deal with leak issues will be well worth it. Hope this helps someone. By the way, the other parts that came with this kit fit perfectly.
