I don't think I am any different from many others who have multiple micro USB charging and adapter cables. Then I buy a new phone and find that it needs the last requirement - a USB C port. They supply one for charging, of course, but what about one in the car if you also use another car every now and then, one for travel? and in a briefcase? What about other items you have that still require micro USB? They solved this problem and did it very well. Well built and easy to store when you still need micro USB cables handy and stocked. I have no hesitation in recommending them. FYI: Before I got these, I bought a few others that are cheaper. Poor design caused them to fail after only a few mating and unmating operations.
