Review on 🧔 Honest Amish Beard & Body Soap (Slick): The Ultimate Cleansing Solution for Gentle Grooming by Renee Patterson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Smells great and lasts a long time.

I bought it exactly a month ago so I've been using it for about 28 days now. I use it every day but only for my beard. It's winter in Wisconsin and incredibly dry. When I use this on my skin it dries it out too much. Paradoxically, when I combine this product with my Honest Amish Beard Balm, it looks like my skin has never been dry from using soap. Skin too much My skin is very dry afterwards during the day - even when I apply beard balm. I never had to use anything for a beard when I lived in Hawaii, but now in Wisconsin's dry winter climate, it's a must. If not, my face itches so much that I scratch it until it bleeds. I used to use Maestro beard wash and then I tried Grandfather Pine Tar bar soap. I wanted something more natural so I did it two years later. I used it for a few days and stopped because the smell was disgusting. Then I switched to this beard soap and wondered why I never used it! Maestro's clothes are cheaper, smell good and last a long time. It only takes two twists of the soap in your hand to wash my beard. In fact, I don't even run it under water to get it wet. Interestingly, I leave the shower running to warm it up and when I enter the soap is already wet enough to use. Again I just twist it twice in my hands and it's more than enough for me to wash my beard. This bloc doesn't seem to be getting any smaller and I suspect it will last until June. That's seven months of life! See the photos for proof and compare the new condition with the product photo. You can tell he hasn't changed much. (Please note that each stripe looks slightly different above). Conclusion: Buy. This lingers and when paired with a beard balm it works best for those struggling with dry skin in dry winter climates. I also recommend storing your soap on a platform with raised ribs or something similar to the one in the last photo so your soap will last longer.
