Battery-Powered Caboose by Kiddieland Toys Ltd. Review

Gave this to my son for Christmas and he wears it so often. It took me a while to figure out how to get it moving as the instructions helped. It was a process before it really took off. All in all a great little outing for kids.

Where was this toy when I was a kid? Got this for my 1 year old and I can't get him or my 3 year old to put it off. Holds good battery life. I love that you can use it on or off the track! Kids love the galley so they can take their favorite ferret for a ride. two directions and all the sounds are an added bonus!

Bought for my 1 year old and after a month he just stopped moving on his own. Love the concept and so cute but for the price it should have lasted a lot longer. it doesn't do much without a caterpillar, as it finds it somewhat difficult to move around on its own. I'll just throw it away. I would not recommend this.

So I love this idea for my son's 1st birthday but I bought it a month ago and he just got it. Come to find out it doesn't really work. and it says my returns window is closed and now I'm stuck with something that doesn't even work. I changed the batteries just to be safe and it still didn't move.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old grandson for Christmas. What a hit! He loved it! The tracks took a bit of time, but we put them together and found that he enjoys just taking the train around the house. Good idea. Every time I visit him he has to show me his Mickey train and show me how to pack in the galley to take with me on trips around the house. He likes it and so do I.

The rails I received are black unlike the other colors shown in the ad but I didn't think it mattered much because the rails don't separate take care of black. Once everything was assembled my one year old grandson loved riding it. This worked great until he was ready to exit. The STOP button was pressed, but the train didn't stop! Disappointed because he really likes the train but it's out of order and can be dangerous because it can't be turned off unless I take the battery out! What a waste…

Bought this for my 1 year old grandson and didn't take it out of the box until Christmas Eve. The only thing that works about it is the noise. It doesn't run on rails and we changed the batteries. The galley does not remain attached. I was so excited to give him this and have never been so disappointed with a toy and of course I'm already past the return date! I had to buy the foot gear at half price because that's all you can use and it's not even very good.
