I know next to nothing about chain lube, I just went to Revain and bought what was cheap and had good reviews. There are already some good reviews with high ratings, I will just say the product was as good as they say. This lube has worked very well for me for the past 2 years. I don't do complex cleaning and what other reviewers mention. I just turn the bike upside down, lean the nozzle against the chain, and then slowly spray while pedaling. If the chain seems wet all over, I'll shift a few times to make sure all the cogs are lubricated as well. This is enough for me for 1-2 months of gentle pedaling, and after 3 months I will start to feel the grinding when pedaling again. This is a bike that's on the road 24/7, rain or shine, with no chainguard, which I think goes to show how good the lube is. My bike was recently left outside for 2 months during the heavy rainy season. When I came back the chain was completely rusted and not moving at all. The connections seemed rusty to each other. I smeared it with WD40, wiped most of the rust off, then manually dislodged the worst connections with pliers. Then I applied this lube as usual. My once terribly rusty chain is now so slippery I can barely feel it move. Wonderful! This convinced me to buy a 32 ounce bottle (I had previously bought a 4 ounce bottle).
