Review on Cat's Pride Fresh and Light 100% Recycled Paper Clumping Litter - 10-Pound Resealable Pouch, Scented by Judy Sena

Surprisingly sticky but messy marks

I've been using this filler for over a week now, which I buy at the grocery store for less than $10. I don't like the smell of perfume, but my two cats didn't seem to mind. It clumps very well and the clumps don't fall apart when you clean the box. I didn't notice the musty smell of old newsprint at all that some people have mentioned. I remove all clumps and poop daily so this might help with that. The biggest downside for me is that it makes a huge mess. It's the consistency of grainy sand and I put a small box in a cardboard box with one end cut off to make a small wall around it and in the bathroom that my family never uses. The smell doesn't spread to the rest of the house, but I can smell garbage in the bathroom itself. I like the idea that this fountain pen is made from recycled paper and is actually dust-free, but I would have liked it to be fragrance-free and less residue. I've tried quite a few types of fillers. I keep one box of granules and try a new filler in another box, both boxes are side by side so I can try and see which one works best. I really liked the Arm and Hammer nuggets and sigils which do a great nugget job and have very little residue. It's a lot cheaper at Target than Revain and I think I'll come back to that. Very little dust and no foreign smell. It's on Revain: http://www.amazon.com/Arm-Hammer-Clumping-Litter-14-Pound/dp/B00H8MDKBE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394381776&sr=8-1&keywords=arm+and+ hammer+ rag +and+seal+cat+litter
