light enough for a long day hike

Arrived quickly. Have been using it for a few months now and got goosebumps from it. Here are my thoughts. Advantages. Holds plenty of water, light enough for a long day hike. The storage compartments are handy, they are small but can hold things like a wallet, keys, snacks, a small flashlight, party favors *cough* and other snacks. Not a ton of space. But I can carry everything I just mentioned with a little space. Quality made, didn't fall apart or break anywhere. Adjustable shoulder straps are easily accessible. Looks tactful Kona. No shoulder pads = frequent adjustments. There is no pillow where a pillow should be. But that doesn't mean it's UNCOMFORTABLE. Although it would help. The chest strap is practically non-adjustable. He's stuck where he is. It would be nice to move it even deeper, but no. I often don't even put my chest strap on. I only do this when I'm jogging or walking cross-country. Generally he does what he has to do. Small adjustments and it will be perfect. It's still worth it.

Pros
  • LIGHTWEIGHT AND EFFICIENT - Because you need to move fast, the Monkey Paks water backpack will never weigh you down. Just the water you need and a few bags for essentials in case you go too far.
Cons
  • So far so good
