The WannaDolla portable air conditioner really helped make the bedroom more tolerant of the heat Oregon has recently experienced (112°F in our house!) and the amount of fog is perfect for staying cool without getting wet. The three-speed oscillation moves a surprising amount of air - the little bead helps cool my immediate personal area by about 3 feet. I fill an old cupcake pan with water - put it in the freezer - push cupcake-sized ice cubes out of the pan, put "cubes" in a freezer bag. And voila - if needed, the ice is the perfect size for the tank! The water/ice tank holds more than expected and surprisingly evaporates slowly enough that you can feel the difference in humidity in the room. Make sure to soak the sponge in ice water before each use. It cools the area faster and the water lasts longer. An added bonus - it's quiet! It's a bit noisy at high altitude, but at night ours is right next to our bed on the bedside table. Blinds are adjustable up and down. 3 speed fan. Fog turns on or off. hesitant. Is USB powered/charged and the battery life is around 2 hours on high output - it's just a great little thing and if it just lasts through the summer I'll love it; unless. I will buy another one!
