Great fun for babies and toddlers

This toy has grown with my little one since she was a few years old. At first it was just plain beautiful, and then she discovered that the lid starts the music. I have to admit the singer's intonation at the end of the Bumblebee song drives me crazy, but it's easy to miss. Different settings provide variety so that the child learns, has fun and the parents don't burn out with the same noises over and over again. My only complaint was that I bought most of the Fisher Price line from this series and assumed the shape sorter would work for the entire line. The matching tea service, for example, is too high to fall into the basket and get stuck in the holes. To free them you need to do a little digging. I also love that each block represents food, color and shape and they're enhanced with a picnic blanket. In truth, sometimes she plays more with fabric than with a toy! You can make sure that the child does not stand on the toy. I have her play area next to the sofa, but it took me a few minutes to see her little foot slip through one of the holes in the basket. She wasn't in pain, so she wasn't screaming, but she was uncomfortable getting free!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
