Beautiful design, stylish looks and decent performance characterize this product. Our new universal brush holder/adapter is particularly interesting. The other half took this choker and tested it with a variety of makeup brushes. She reports that the collar actually fits each of them. We tested repeatedly with different sizes to confirm consistency. I am concerned about the longevity of using brushes of different thicknesses, as well as whether they will retain their original shape and still hold thin brushes with the same vigilance. At this point, which is still in an entirely new stage, the collar appears to be very resilient and is returning to its original state. The jar is made of plastic which is mentioned on one of the product images. The second half has an electric brush cleaner (battery) with a glass container. While plastic looks good, we both think glass is better and lasts longer. But using plastic probably helps reduce costs. The vacuum cleaner uses 2 AAA batteries which are not included. For makeup brushes, the device has enough power to rotate the brush and remove particles effectively. The rotation creates enough centrifugal force to clean and dry makeup brushes. Decent quality set. The outstanding component is the universal brush adapter/collar. In terms of price, it is in the upper middle range of comparable make-up brush cleaners. So the cost is reasonably reasonable. (Less expensive options don't include this universal brush cuff, but offer multiple cuff sizes.) This is a fairly powerful and effective makeup brush cleaner. I think the main feature is the universal transition collar. After the first impressions, this product receives a solid 4.5 stars with a high recommendation.
