Review on πŸ“± Enhanced ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Curve Elite - Premium Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (200101855) by Roman Niko

Long and difficult way. But INCREDIBLE RESULTS!

Wow! RESULTS! I bought the Elite with full glue for $49.99 when the Note 9 was new. I have also purchased other tempered glass screen protectors, some are full adhesive and some are for the edges only. Fully adhered screen protectors (multiple brands) never fully adhered, and curved edges were ALWAYS an issue. Edge-only glue guards generally worked better, my favorite being from Tech Armor. However, there are disadvantages of edge-only adhesive protectors, the main reason is that the glass is not crystal clear due to micro dots. When my last screen protector peeled off this afternoon (another con that peeled off), I went through my collection of screen protectors and decided to try again with the full adhesive. I installed the non-brand first, but as always in my experience, the curved edges just did NOT stick. After that it was time for the ZAGG Elite. Aligning the build is very easy thanks to the red "Easy Apply Tray" and "Knob" tab at the top and bottom of the tread. After leveling and removing the guide, I was very disappointed to find that the curved edges didn't match. There was only a tiny visible speck of dust about 1 inch from the bottom corner, but there were tons of tiny air bubbles along all four edges (no dust). My frustration only grew as I tried to force the bubbles to the rim with incredibly strong pressure. I finally had some success and managed to get almost the entire curved side (except the corner) bubble free, which surprised me greatly. It encouraged me not to give up (and just get rid of the annoying thing). I popped more and more bubbles until there were about a dozen small ones along one curved side and at the bottom. Thinking that was the best that could be done I put the case back on and turned on the phone just to see if I could tolerate the blisters. After a few minutes I found I couldn't. I took the guide to learn about warranty information and accidentally re-read the tips section. Tip 3 recommends lifting the edge closest to stubborn blisters and repeating as needed. I tried this and amazingly I was not only able to remove the dust dot with the sticker but also the rest of the bubbles! When the last one didn't come back I was SHOCKED to see a perfectly clear, perfectly bonded, fully adherent screen protector! blisters. My thumbs will no doubt be very sore tomorrow, but I can't say I'm NOT COMPLETELY AMAZING with the result. My advice to others: if you don't see any dust particles in the bubbles, KEEP TRYING to push them out. . As a last resort, gently lift the edge closest to the bubbles. Also, you should press your thumbs very hard, but only when the tread is flat, not when the edge is up. If I knew what I know now, I would continue popping bubbles but with a lot less frustration and fear.
