My new favorite lens. I think I should sell my 14mm Sigma. I like it better than the 14mm for astrophotography and landscape photography that I mostly shoot with. The 24mm lens weighs less, uses standard 77mm filters, has excellent edge sharpness with low distortion and a larger aperture. The 14mm lens uses a dedicated 150mm filter plate adapter, which is bulky, has severe edge distortion, and is almost twice the weight and expensive of the 24mm lens. The only downside to a 24mm lens is that it can exhibit severe angular vignetting, especially when 2 or more filters are used. The milky way shot was taken at night when I took the lens off the back deck!
