I recently bought an iPhone 12 Pro, also because of the camera and video function when traveling. Now I carry it with me because it has become so useful. When I carry my cameras I carry a small Leica tripod/ball mount and have found that if you can hold the camera up to a lamp post or wall it allows you to take night shots in low light. This piece of metal is durable, can be used as a tripod or attached to a larger tripod, it has a small ball mount so you can place it on a table and still adjust the viewing angle. I noticed that the tension knob on the ball mount had just been screwed in, so I used a few drops of reverse threadlock to keep the vibration from loosening or getting lost.
