Review on πŸ”΅ Mastercool 89660-PRO5 R134a Manifold Gauge Set in Blue by Kevin Henry

Very good quality set

I have filled car air conditioners countless times with cheap 12oz single hose assemblies. banks. I finally decided to get a set to do everything. starting with the Robinair vacuum pump. As for the gauges, I wasn't quite sure which direction to go. I've looked at everything from $25 manifold sets to Yellow Jacket sets that cost several hundred dollars. I chose this Mastercool kit for three reasons: the reviews, the case that comes with it, and the fact that it comes with everything I need (many of the more expensive kits seem to be missing a key component or two that need to be purchased separately) . ).I have used this set twice already and am very happy with it. Impeccable work. Exceptional quality sensors and distributors. The valves open and close very smoothly and the hoses are perfectly sealed. The instructions are simple but effective. End connectors attach securely to R134 systems. By twisting and pulling they were tight and didn't leak. 90Β° bends allow them to penetrate even the tightest spaces. Originally I wanted to have buttons on my couplers so I could manually depress the A/C valves to further limit gas blowdown and reduce the chance of the couplers "popping" when removed from the system but these couples, as they are, works very well and detaches without problems. The case works well, with enough room to mount the manifold without removing the hoses, but I would have preferred something with separate storage for accessories so things don't collapse and scratch the sensor surfaces. These are of course subtleties. My only complaint. I wish I had bought this many years ago as it makes working with the air conditioners easier.
