After seeing these in stock and stores I wanted them but not at the retail price of $400 plus for 1pc. I watched Revain for a few days to decide what to order. They are much longer than I need but the cheapest price. As I suspected, length doesn't matter. They look cheap when you open the box, but when you pick them up you can't tell them apart from those sold in the swamp chest shop. I ordered voice controlled remote controlled motors to make these awesome ones lol but had to return them as I couldn't find the pole they fit on. The shades work as advertised. I've noticed that if you hang them as shown (worst directions each) the 2 layers are spaced quite far apart allowing more light to come through when closed. I respected the way they are hung, now the two layers are in contact with each other so no light goes around them, but they are not darkened in any way. I would like to find her in the dark and take her to another room. I definitely recommend them for the unbeatable price. It's great that they are removable, they can be removed and washed. IDK how well they would hold up in the washing machine, but if you smoke in your house (disgusting lol) I'm sure hand washing would work. Plus, because it's removable, you can use your own fabric if something happens or you just want to change something up.
