I've only had a Garmin watch for a few weeks. At that time it was used several times for sporting purposes, mainly for cycling (which is not intended for that). Anyway, I can't compare it to my watch at the same time, so I mostly rely on my filling. I penalized the GPS for not showing speed as accurately while driving, not just at the start. It takes a long time to update to the right speed. Another thing is the heart rate monitor, sometimes it gets lost and I have to move it on my wrist.
