Review on ZOOGS Kids Boots - Toddlers Girls Boys' Shoes for Outdoor Activities by Marcus Hargrave

I'm from the south, where an inch of snow can fall every 10 years. My family and I vacationed in Colorado for the first time. I bought these for my daughter hoping they will keep her feet warm. The boots fit her perfectly, but putting them on and keeping her feet dry in the snow was another matter entirely. I tried to pull the rope but the plastic part wouldn't hold. They slipped off her every time she lifted her foot out of the snow and the snow kept pooling around the boot opening and rolling into the boot. She wore a pair of wool socks and a sock with shoe inserts. At the end (the whole 30 minutes) she cried because her feet were wet and cold. My daughter (8) was very happy to see and play in the snow for the first time. Now she wants nothing to do with it. They're cute (the only reason I gave them 2 stars) and I'm sure my daughter can use the boots in the rain (it rains more here) but I won't be using them for future trips to the US because of the snow .
