Review on 💡 Drevet LED Desk Lamp with USB Charging, AC Power Outlet, 3 Lighting Modes and Timer - Black by Drew Diaz

I understand this is a cheap lamp so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular but it was still a disappointment. Staying with the biggest issues, I'll start with color temperature: there are 3 color modes, but LEDs don't actually change color; Instead, it has 2 cool temp bars and 1 warm temp bar, and your color choice determines which one is included. The Neutral White setting is the only setting that includes all 3 stripes. So when you switch to a cold temperature the only warm bar goes out and the light gets noticeably dimmer as only 2 of the 3 LED bars are lit. If you switch to the warm temperature setting, things get worse because you now only have one warm bar enabled. So if you don't want neutral white, your lightbulb won't work at full brightness. Secondly, the brightness is minimally sufficient even at high and neutral settings with all three bars. I have other flashlights with the same brightness and they seem to put out more light. Third, and it might just be the lemon I got, the light tends to flicker. You have to play around with the positioning to find a place where the connection is strong and stays on, but when I change its position it flickers during and often after I've adjusted. Finally, and this is more of a nitpick, I don't like traffic jams. The rear fork needs about 3 inches of clearance behind the lamp base. This is of course not a problem for someone on an open desk or desk, but if your desk is against a wall or has a back (like mine) the lamp will take up a lot of space and stick out too far. Forward. Also, the USB port is on the front, not on the top or side, so you're wasting even more space. As you can see in the picture, I have to put the phone cord on top of the folder, otherwise the folder won't fit on the table.
