Review on πŸ§‡ Deliciously Crispy Waffles Made Easy with Bcoww 7707 Texas Waffle Maker! by Pete Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The "Done " light isn't accurate, but it's a nice little waffle maker.

I know they list plate sizes but I think I assumed a large waffle iron plate because it's shaped like Texas. Well I guess I just miss the great Lone Star State. In order for this to work well (read the instructions for use), you need to rub some vegetable oil on the surface of the plates, and then bake waffles. Leave out the waffle as it will get blotchy and oily. After that first start bit, you're done. This is the SPICE OF THE WAFER MARK. Using no more than 2/3 cup of batter, spread it lightly over the pot handle and stem with a spatula. Also, I recommend not leaving the waffle until the lights go out. Use your own timer and set it to two minutes. Also place a paper towel underneath as the edges will collect natural moisture and drain the liquid. It's waffles, it's dirty, deal with it. Eat your wonderful waffle and clean up later. People who write reviews expecting something to work as perfectly as June Cleaver do have a very distorted sense of reality. I really like this product. Makes delicious waffles. Although I have to say I wouldn't have paid that much for it if it wasn't in a Texas uniform.
